Because some of our users post messages in our free discussion forum using their email address (which we we have always and still continue to discourage), and because of the recent propensity for some Internet spammers to harvest email addresses from public comments and notes, effective December 2006, it is our policy to now require a password and a confirmed email address to read our free forum.

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, but never the e-mail address unless the reader volunteers it.  We collect only the domain name, but not the e-mail address of visitors to our Web page, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit and information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page and is never shared with other organizations for commercial purposes with the exception of aggregate totals about items related to advertising, such as the total number of advertisements we have hosted and the click-through rates for such.

With respect to cookies: We use cookies to track the results of our advertising campaigns on other sites and for the purpose of enabling users to log in to our members sections.

We never send unsolicited email and only those who have chosen to opt-in to our mailing list or paid to subscribe (or those who have contacted us first) will receive emails from us.  Our mailing list comes with an easy unsubscribe option.  At any time, if you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending us e-mail at the above address, calling us at the above telephone number or writing to us at the above address.

If you supply us with your postal address on-line you will only receive the information for which you provided us your address and it will not be shared with any other organization or company.  We do not use your mailing address for marketing purposes and will only use it to contact you if there is an issue related to the reason you provided us your mailing address.

Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed on-line and only when necessary. With respect to Ad Servers: To try to bring you offers that are of interest to you, we have relationships with other companies that we allow to place ads on our Web pages. As a result of your visit to our site, ad server companies may collect information such as your domain type, your IP address and clickstream information. From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will contact you before we use your data for these new purposes to notify you of the policy change and to provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.  We will also post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically. Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by e-mailing us at the above address.

Upon request we provide site visitors with access to communications that the consumer/visitor has directed to our site (e.g., e-mails, customer inquiries). Consumers can access this information by e-mail us at the above address.  We archive correspondence with customers for one year, after which time they are not available to the consumer.

Upon request we offer visitors the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in contact information. Consumers can have this information corrected by sending us e-mail at the above address.

With respect to security: We always use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site.
